I was surprised there wasn't a thread on this. I love VaatiVidya's overviews of Fromsoft lore.
AC6 has a really cool world that is introduced to you subtly over the course of the game. I loved it.

I started the video yesterday. Great production and editing so far, as well as ...of course...the sheer magnitude of the context and lore you don't easily get while playing the game.
Still, that's just too many hours.

Having just started AC6 I've got a feeling I might need to watch this after I finish it.

I got every ending and owned every part and i'm not sure I could ever talk about AC6 for 5 hours even if i was pronouncing all the guns v e r y slow lol
But i'll background noise this bad boy and see what i missed, for sure. AC6 was a such a little gift when it dropped. Felt so good at every point. Pour one out for Rusty

Finally!
I typically don't watch his videos because I don't care for the story/lore of FromSoftware fantasy games, but I've been checking in to see if there was one for AC. No wonder it's taken so long too.

Watched the first hour and it's really well done from a storytelling perspective.
I devoured the game and its story so I can't wait to finish it.
And it made me realise that I missed a secret room in one of those first missions that I certainly played a dozen times haha

I have been watching this in parts since this released.
Just a phenomenal effort by all involved, so much work has gone into this. Even all the custom video they took using the cinema camera mods etc.
Makes me enjoy the game even more, so much I missed.
I love that Form has made a game you can just jump into blow sh*t up, tweak your mech and set up (got get my paint and decals looking just right :) but underneath is so much story and lore waiting to be discovered. I also like all the subtle characterization that happens through the radio chatter, as well as committing to never showing us people directly, so cold and in-human.

about two hours into this, and this video is seriously great. i am also so happy that it helps bring attention to how good the story of armored core 6 is. i find not many talked about that aspect of the game last year, and while i didn't pick up on all the details of the story myself, i did find the story and worldbuilding really interesting. i'm hoping this video will bring more attention to how good the story really is

I love this game so much. Honestly such amazing achievement, especially with using new[er] leadership to make a masterpiece. The story has a surprising amount of depth. I had 0 trouble running through it 3 times in a row and getting all the S ranks.
Vaati has me diving back into the lore now, too.
