Days and Nights are getting blurry, but the #blackexcellence at Inkwell Beach during Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2022 is something I could never forget. Every speakers, panelists, performers and participants was incredible and fueled my soul with pride, joy and resilience. 💪🏾💪🏾A special shoutout to the amazing #blackgirlmagic who reminded me we are SPECTACULAR. I will forever cherish the gems they dropped during panels and our behind the scenes small talks. I learned so much and feel forever grateful and blessed to be apart of a magical week. 💫💃🏾A big thank you to @inkwellbeachcannes Cannes Can: Diversity Collective and @GroupBlack for welcoming me to the team as support staff and the fun!and last but not least, Adrianne C. Smith who is the force behind the visions and someone I look up to. Thank you for trusting me.See y'all next year 🤗🤙🏾 #grateful #inkwellbeachcannes #canneslions2022

Huge thank you to Amber Coleman-Mortley our fab host from The Female Quotient, for putting this much needed panel last week with yours truly A Dope Femme 🤓 An honest conversation to close #womenhistorymonth alongside amazing Boss Babes, where we discussed "Power of the Pack! Unpacking Inclusive Cultural Labels!"Individuals and organizations are working to make our language more inclusive because how we label each other matters. Labels for race, culture and ethnicity are tough because we lose the nuance in the diversity of experience present across these groups. So how do we get it right? As a French-Congolese women living in an "inclusive era", I've been labeled so many [right & questionable] things throughout my career. I'll spare you the examples 🤦🏾♀️ Instead of focusing on how we get it wrong, let's have more dialog on how to get it right; Or at least attempt to and be a champion for us all, without dismissing one's experience.Amber, we're waiting for Part 2 because the people want to hear it alllll 😏😏● Kim "Kimfer" Flanery-Rye, MBA MBA, Founder and Principal DEI Consultant, Inclusion Equals● Janeya Griffin, The Commercializer®️ LLC and Co-Founder of Equity SpaceAlliance● Aila Castane Jalloh Community + Virtual Events Manager, #WeAllGrow LatinaShama Rahman, Director of Brand Strategy NY Mag● Samantha Wai Sze Wong Co-Founder & COO, Marmot #community #inclusion #thefemalequotient #adopefemme #womenempoweringwomen #paneldiscussions #allyship
